What work can I do?
Registered nurses are highly skilled and provide an essential support to trained Doctors and Physicians in different areas of the Healthcare sector including Hospitals, Mental Health Clinics and Rehabilitation Centres. Their caring nature ensures they play a key role in delivering patients nursing care plans and educating them and their families in dealing with and managing their illnesses.
As a Healthcare Assistant you will work within many different Healthcare establishments and be responsible for assisting patients with their basic care and daily tasks. Not only that, you will act as a key support for them when times are hard and offer empathy to their situations.
As a Support Worker you will provide support to those individuals and families who need help, both emotionally and practically, so they can live a happy, independent life.

FREE Induction Training
We offer FREE onsite induction training to candidates with none or minimal experience of working within the sector. Led by an independent trainer, our two-day course guides you through the basic skills and knowledge required by law to work within healthcare establishments.
The course covers many topics including Health and Safety at Work, Mental Health, Protection, Infection Control, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Equality and Diversity.

When do I get paid?
You will be paid weekly by BACS to a Bank Account registered in your name.
Do I get Holiday Pay?
Yes, you are entitled to 28 days paid holiday per year which is paid pro-rata, based on the average hours you have worked for us.
English is not my first language?
Due to the nature of our industry we will need you to have good communication skills and an understanding of the English Language. Don’t worry however if you feel you need assistance as we have access to a local language school that we can refer you to for additional support.
Can I study towards an NVQ whilst working?
Yes, if you are interested in furthering your expertise we can refer you to one of our local, affiliated partners who will arrange for you to meet and NVQ assessor at our offices, free of charge.
Will I be provided with a uniform?
Yes for all assignments you will be provided with a Carestaff Agency uniform and Identification badge.
